POLL: Most Likely First Round Upset

tough call because I like a few of these including Buffalo over WVU and Wofford over Arkansas but I really really like SF Austin over Utah

I think Buffalo seems to match up pretty well with WVU, although with these upsets sometimes there is no rhyme or reason. On the other side, while I think SFA is a pretty good team, I think they got a bad matchup in Utah.

Im not sold on the Pac 12 beyond Arizona.


but you are right....there will be a 3 or 4 seed upset..and as we look at the matchup none of us can pick it out but we know there always are multiple unexpected events

That's what makes picking these upsets so tough, especially from a pool point of view. If you are right, it's awesome. If you are wrong, it usually ends up being a double loss, since there will be another upset somewhere else you didn't pick.

I voted for OSU but don't necessarily consider that to be an upset. I think the Buckeyes were under-seeded and hopefully go into the game with a bit of a chip on their shoulders.

Eastern Washington (imo) is most likely from the #13+ seeds. They can score! Don't play a lot of defense so if Gtown can execute they should get points, but this game is going to be close (imo).

Agreed. I think Harvey can carry this team to the sweet 16 and be a the Cinderella of the first weekend. Also G'town is overseeded IMO. They don't scare me as much as other 4's.
