Notre Dame, with wins over North Carolina and Clemson had the most impressive resume. More so than Ohio State, even, in my view. Ohio State beat no one (sorry Northwestern), and likely also would have lost to Clemson or Bama if they played them.
I know Ohio St got the 3 spot, but imo they should be the ones left out. I'm fine with Notre Dame still being at the 4 spot, but keep Alabama, Clemson & ND in the playoffs and add one of those teams you have listed above.
