Absolutely horrible news. His mother seemed like an exceptional parent and I know they were extremely close.
Wow I know he had already lost his dad, and now this.
Not fair. Bless him and his family. Hopefully he continues to thrive, eventually meet a respectable woman, get married, have kids and teach them all about their grandma.

That’s tough. I can’t imagine losing my mom now much less at that age.

I was under the impression she had beaten cancer. This is awful news. Not even 21 and has lost both of his parents. Life isn’t fair.
This is terrible news. Thank Our Father, Dereck's mother is no longer suffering. God will watch over Dereck from above, and his mother's angel shall protect his earthly being.
