What I really hope -
1 - That everyone on the board roots for Rutgers and Vivian tomorrow. I'd like to think you all do, but reading some posts I can't help but wonder. The team deserves it, CVS deserves it, and it has been a tough year for all of them. Please
2 - That everyone remembers that we all want all Rutgers athletics to be successful. Please. If we win - and we certainly can - that's great. If we lose - and we might - it will be a shame. But in the end, the fact that the game can go either way says an awful lot about the disappointing season it has been for both teams.
3 - Finally, that those who must post negative rants realize that comments - which have been made since there was a message board - that CVS's offense is at best limited, that she doesn't value the 3 point shot, that freshmen don't contribute as much on her teams as they do at other schools, that her in-game adjustments are lacking and her substitution patterns are inexplicable to fans, etc. etc. etc. - are arguably true, were arguable throughout her tenure and don't have to be repeated ad nauseum. Please. The difference between some posters isn't so much disagreement on those facts, only on whether those facts mandate a coaching change.
I for one am hoping for a great game tomorrow.
