I don’t know much about them but they’re 47 in KenPom so seem to be decent. Penn State is 133 for comparison…
KenPom has UWash at 47, vs. 54 for the Cats. Difference about 2.5 points. Hopefully home court tilts the scale.
They’re missing one of their best players. They looked terrible against Illinois a few nights ago.
Washington has used 11 different starting lineups in 21 games this year due to a ton of injuries. Over the past 6 games, they are definitely more efficient than us but we're both 2-4.
They don't try to force turnovers, they are bottom 10 in the country at getting to the FT line, and they aren't good at shooting 3s, making 29.6%. Despite their 6'11" twin towers, they aren't a stellar rebounding team either. They do love to take mid-range shots, even more than we do, but there's a good chance they will force us into taking more than we would as well. This will likely not be a repeat of the other night.
