Playing for an SEC west banner tomorrow...

Arky is too. They lose and we win and we are outright winners of the west.

TAM beat vandy 2 of 3. Maybe they will help us out.

Gig ‘Em !!!!

[She Mate Me]

A&M really needs the series to bolster their hosting chances. Definitely got a lot to play for and could help us land an outright West championship and #2 SEC Tourney seed.

If we both win, we split the West, but they get the higher seed in Hoover.

Correct?

[DAWGS1.sixpack]

We would definitely tie at 21-9 but they get the #2 seed NC of head to head
We would get the # 3 seed no matter what GA does due to head to head

A&M vs Ark game has been moved up to 11:00 AM to beat possible rain

Arkansas would get the better seed in the SEC tourney due to head-to-head but I don't agree they would automatically get a better national seed due to head-to-head. State has the better overall record by 4-5 games and better overall RPI. As of right now we are #3 RPI and they Arkansas is #6.

Either way, it doesn't matter. Like the State fans who got mad that a twitter baseball group picked East Carolina #5 overall and State #6. It doesn't really matter if you're #3 or #6 overall. The opposite team in the Super may be tougher or easier regardless of whether they are seeded #10 or #7 depending on matchups, record over the last 10 games, etc.

Asa Lacey is suspended so pitching is pretty even...Arky offense is better..Hopefully A&M can find a way

Can't wait for the "Thanks Aggies" CL headline.

Can't wait for the "Thanks Aggies" CL headline.

No, it will read, “Rebs robbed of 4th place in the SEC West by Aggies narrow victory at home”.

Them getting rained out would be fine by me.

[PineGroveBully]

A rainout would effect final SEC standings and more importantly SEC tourney seeding, so wouldn't they HAVE to make it up? I know Arkansas has their eyes on a bigger prize but I don't see their coach shrugging his shoulders at no opportunity to better their seed.
