I know Gio had a great game. However, Cliff played an unbelievable part in this win. Beside playing his heart out, he finally showed some offensive moves around the basket and used the backboard.
He still has a lot to learn on offense and defense, but to me this was his most complete game. Kudos to him.

Last year Cliff had no idea what he was doing. When Myles announced he was leaving, we were all worried about the liability at the 5. He's grown so much in a year, the sky is truly the limit.

Develop a mid range jumper and the kid is playing in the NBA

I wasn't worried about Cliff. I was excited. I was worried about the back up 5. Dean has been nice but we don't have the depth at 5 against meatier bigs

Cliff already has a mid range jumper. Besides dunks it's been his best offense all season until he flashed some better post moves recently. Suprisingly smooth stroke

Others:

Paul had another very good game.

RHJ didn’t allow his offensive struggles to impact his defense. That made a difference.

Caleb played excellent defense. I’m not understanding his offensive stat line. I didn’t think he took 5 shots unless you count the missed tip (if they considered that a shot). But if a shot is recorded, shouldn’t an offensive rebound get recorded.

Reiber had a rough time the first time he checked in. I thought he settled down though the second time and gave a few good minutes during the stretch he had the basket. Good defense there too.
