I knew she was waived by them was just not sure why? Maybe her torn ACL is still a problem?

Sadly, because the WNBA is so small, there are just not enough places for the talent. And given that, the players who are not "stars" are always at risk.

I don't follow that much, but there were several threads that relate to players and fans of the league on the UConn board the last several days.
