Kaine would be the same as Hillary I bet, ya'll give way to much power to the president and way too little to the House and Senate, one president alone can't do much unless they have at least the House or the Senate. Not sure how she is supposed to eliminate the second amendment.

she doesn't have to, just appoint liberal judges who ignore the constitution and it will be repealed by fiat.

She doesn't want too, I have yet to hear anyone on the left talk about repealing the second amendment. I just want a rocket launcher dammit.

Amazing how paranoid the wingnuts are about guns. HRC has never advocated repealing the 2nd. She, like most reasonable people, understand the need for sensible gun regulations, background checks, magazine size limits, not allowing those on the no-fly list to buy guns....you know, common sense kind of things. Like the Repubs used to support back when they had leaders who had some sense.

And I have repeatedly shown where these "common sense" actions seem fine on the surface but violate multiple elements of the constitution. Instead of trying to ram some ******** through, take the time to make it right, which is something those proposing these steps do not do. You all can try to spin it however you want to, but the reality is, the common sense ideas violate the 4th in trying to curtail the 2nd. When one goes about this process recklessly as it seems to be the case, the obvious reality seems to be they care more about curtailing the 2nd than making sure they are legally in the right.

You are on a roll with your overgeneralizations and simplified understanding of a very complex issue. Simple Mike rolls on!!!

Surely you jest about that. Plenty of liberals talk about it and all it takes are a few liberal justices to change things significantly.

Magazine size and "assault weapon" bans aren't "common sense". They're emotional red herrings.
