Players aren't the only people he is recruiting. Need the RAC to be the RAC again.

Great stuff right there! Seriously great stuff! Hopefully they wear RED Rutgers gear instead of 87 different colored sweatshirts o show off their letters (I was a "Greek," so don't bother bashing me, thanks...). You're SCARLET Knights, all of you, be PROUD and be LOUD!

Pikiell is relentless.

Not a bad community to go after either, as they all hang together and travel in groups. Also wouldn't be a bad thing to go to the sorority houses.

You gotta admit, the RAC has been there at times this year.

I was standing next to Shep Garners dad during a penn state players free throw. The RAC got so loud he looked over at his daughters and said "Holy SHHH 1t."

Even beyond free throw attempts, it's been loud. Since the 12' season when I made my move to the Banks, times this year are the loudest I have ever heard it.

Not even close to how it was in the late 90's- early 00's and that wasn't even our hay day.

This. I'm really looking forward to Pikiell making it happen here so the fans who weren't around years ago can see the full power of The RAC (to paraphrase a line front Star Wars).

There were several games from the 90s and early 00s when I felt like my ears were gonna bleed from the crowd noise. You could actually FEEL it moving your ear drums!

You guys are forgetting a few times during Rice's tenure as well...

Douby and Coleman tell me all the time...the RAC is the only place they ever played where it was so loud the FLOOR literally shook. Ask Coach Knight about it sometime if you ever get the chance...

BK, remember Douby mentioned the UCONN game where the floor was shaking. The one point loss game.

Because the way the place was made we have proven it's not about how many seats it's about whose in them.

Some day in the not too distant future we're going to hear somebody with a hot mic on BTN or ESPN slip and go, "Holy sh*t it's loud in here!"

And then a select few of us who know what it was like can do our best Emperor laugh.

Love the coach and I believe he's the right guy to stay the course for the 6 or 7 year rebuild. Glad to see him making the effort that EJ never did, but he can walk into every frat, dorm and sorority and give out Porterhouse and lobster and it's not going to get the RAC to be the snake pit it once was until he recruits some B1G talent. To plagiarize from another thread -- kids play hard, they just don't play well. The RAC's not going to be packed for effort. That takes wins in the B1G. Getting near .500 in the league is probably the 2019-20 season. So the kids who are frosh now won't have a serious program until they're seniors. Pork roll ... or steaks ... won't change that.

Now, as a geezer and pork roll fiend, I thought Saturday's promo was great. Love to see PR, E and C on bagels at HPSS.

It won't be the same (like I always say for Football) where because of where and who we are we just have to win as opposed to WIN to get all the good stuff.

Might have to work a little harder to get the same results for BB but not much more. Just a little bit more.
