Does Pikiell's coaching style and demeanor remind anyone else of UConn's Calhoun? I know it's an obvious comparison, but iMO they look a lot alike and they act a lot alike - even some of the facial expressions are similar. Maybe this has already been discussed, but it just occurred to me. Thoughts?

I believe in his introductory press conference, Pike said that Calhoun would be a mentor who he would contact throughout the year for advice, etc. Kind of like an unpaid assistant coach from a distance. Don't know if it's been actually happening, but that's the idea. This is a great coaching staff. They are going to get it done.
No not really, although many techniques and the understanding of the game was certainly learned by Pikiell. Regardless, I love this guy and his staff. In less than a year, he has this team competitive again. When was the last time we said that?
Donny Marshall. Hopefully Pikiell is everything that Calhouns was as a coach minus being an ******* like him.
This came up to Pikiell at our Court Club meeting. He said something to the affect that Calhoun was like a monster or such. That might not be the word he used but he meant that Calhoun got everyone on the team's attention. At the press conference in March coach said Calhoun would be at the RAC for games this season. Hopefully that will take place.
