little disappointed the game tonight is not in the Palestra, that would have been awesome

Temple getting 8.5 pts

love watching Quenton DeCosey , another one that got away. every player should watch him draw shooting fouls, one of the best.

DeCosey...sounds familiar, where's he from again?

Decosey didn't get away, we landed the 3 guards (Mack, Seagears, Carter) at the time along with Mike Poole....Decosey wasn't interested in playing behind anyone for more than a year. Nice player but assuredly benefits by playing in a smaller/lesser league that allows him the freedom to develop and shoot.

Maybe with Dayton and St. Joes? Aren't Duke and UNC playing tonight? ;-)

Nova didn't even shoot the three that well and wiped them out.
this year's tournament will be nuts. I'm thinking in first cple rounds bet every dog on the moneyline (except vs the #1 & #2 seed) and will make some money.

Couldn't agree more. March Madness is wagered on by a great number of people who don't follow college hoops closely. They bet based on the names (Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, UCLA, etc) on the uniforms, instead of the players in the uniforms. Lots of money to be made during the early rounds of the dance.

here is what I looked at:
last year avg first round spread for those 24 games was 5.5, which is about +200.
for arguements sake say you do pretty bad - go 8-16 picking moneyline dogs.
$100 per wager
lose $1,600
get your $800 back for the wins
win $1,600
= $2,400 return, so you break dead even.
so as long as 33% of dogs win, you won't lose anything.

33 Top 5 teams have lost this year thus far-----20 of them to unranked teams.

There's probably 25 teams with a legit shot at getting to Houston.
