Will Pike roll with some combination of Paul Jalen and Simpson to run the point next season?

Does Pike still have hope that he turns the keys over to Paul to run the show with no Geo?

I think Pike has always envisioned Paul as a big point. He is showing to be a better creator from the wings and ball reversals in the flow of the offense than someone who can bring up the ball and breakdown the D to create. He is a good spot up 3 point shooter (minus a slow start this year)

Does Pike feel a transfer PG is needed in the portal?

Not sure.

i don’t think I want. fats Russell type that comes in here and hijack the basketball. I like a mid major type guy that will play defense and has a capable handle and will knock down a 3. Content to play 25 MPG and is Ok scoring 8-10 PpG, but can do more if needed.

The 1st think to look at that is a qualifier or disqualifier is a player that can defend high screens.

Cobble together some NIL cash and hit the portal, instant offense isn’t cheap.

How about a Jalen Pickett type? I like his game a lot personally...
