Peetz pulling out after committing and Mickey getting arrested set this O back. Satt can’t coach QBs and we have a child as a WR coach. The lack of talent coaching O is killing development clearly.

Everyone is writing about what it would be like if the Huskers still had Casey. I think Mickey would have been a bigger factor. He would have gotten us some players and maybe a better quarterback. This is all on Mickey. You cannot have a meltdown like he did and hold down a very public job coaching the Huskers. What a colossal mistake.
It’s hard to fault the kid when
1. Betts bailed right before the first game
2. We had 2 ACL tears and a MCL take out our top 3 WRs.
The kids best WR right now was his 5th best coming into the season. A current starter now was this 7th best WR at the start.
And they are ALL freshmen. I’ll give him a pass. We have had kids open that the QBs sailed or didn’t see.
It’s hard to fault him? That’s not a defense for proof he’s good enough to coach. Thats an excuse for his poor performance
It’s not hard to fault the kid. Proof that he belongs has yet to be seen. WRs weren’t very good when the group was healthy

Which was never. IGC went down preseason. Betts quit preseason. That was two of the top guys. The much-hyped freshmen were also all dealing with injuries that limited them in camp and early in the season.
And as has also been mentioned, the QBs are not seeing wide open guys, or when they do, the throws are often embarrassingly off-target. One problem is the TV doesn't show how many times this year dudes have been all by themselves only for the tards at QB to blatantly ignore them.
They don't do it on purpose. They aren't good enough to see them in the coverages.

All charges against Mickey were dropped. We should try to get him back in some capacity. The guy can recruit Louisiana which is sorely needed.
could be a win win situation, Mickey comes in and gets us players, cleans up his image and possibly gets looks elsewhere as coordinator or head coach. Still though, could Nebraska take a chance on re-hiring a guy that was a woman abuser? Just because charges were dropped doesn't mean he didn't beat her.

Mickey isn’t coming back. His best bet is to try to catch on as an assistant NFL coach IMO. Maybe he could find a spot with a lower profile program as an assistant.
That Analyst coaching TE has P5 experience and has put TEs in the league.and if you want that POS woman beater more Power to ya.
