Man he's looking out of shape. But it's great to see him out there. Loved sparks.

He probably wouldn't have played for Calipari due to lack of athleticism, but he knew how to get the ball in the basket. He hit some big shots for us. I'll never forget the one he hit against Michigan (I believe), in the NCAA tournament. Also beat UL with late 3 free throws after getting fouled on a corner 3 attempt as time was expiring.

He's actually going back to school. He had a serious love for the game, and a work ethic that I hadn't ever seen before.

He's exactly the kind of guy who lights Cal's teams up a couple times a year. I spoke to him last night actually, he said it felt great to be back. I'm glad the fans showed him love.

It's crazy that this is the first time he's been back to Lexington since he graduated. I know they've been trying to get him to come back for quite a while.

Which he totally walked on before shooting!

Ah, the old days when we would get the calls.

looked old.

Read he's at WKU getting his teaching certificate. Would make sense to see him go back to Muhlenberg County and coach.

Ah, the old days when we would get the calls.

I come from a large extended family that resides in the Louisville Metro area. It's a pretty even split between red and blue. That game - specifically the foul/walk - caused a few of my cousins to get into a shouting/shoving match at a family Christmas gathering.

Luckily, I was raised blue.

Also, I'll never forget him and that WKU team coming into Rupp and beating our *** the opening game of the 2001-02 season. That was the Team Turmoil year. That was a very shocking defeat at the time. Made me wonder how in the world Tubby initially missed on an in state guy the caliber of Sparks.
