That’s about the only way of saying what we all saw Saturday but what coaches aren’t allowed to say without being fined:
“We had exactly as many two point shots as Clemson did in this game, so we were driving hard to the basket every chance we got. Clemson shot 34 free throws, and we shot 12.”
I remember at halftime I thought about posting in the game day thread that the second half was going to suck to watch as a UofL fan, because those Clemson refs weren’t going to call it fairly enough for us to be able to win against a good Clemson team. I didn’t post that because we were just down 3, and I didn’t want to be overly negative. But it did turn out to be hard to watch!
