Man, it's confusing trying to online research parking. Can't tell what is Vanderbilt permit student parking and what is available to visitors. Any tips? Have my 80 year old father in law with us so probably will just drop him off. Sure it will be a nightmare trying to find a spot in the dark. Appreciate any tips!

Parking lot #73 across the road Southwest of the football stadium. It's free! Parking garage on 25th across from the baseball stadium is about $20 and pure hell to get out of. Both have roughly the same walking time if you walk between the football and baseball stadiums.
I would plan on dropping him off and letting him stand inside in the warmth. It's gonna be really cold (for Nashville standards). I usually just go right into the big parking structure a few blocks away on 25th AVE S. I have made the mistake of thinking I'd find something better and had to circle around in the slow traffic. If you see them waving you in, go for it and be done!

Worked beautifully !.. Less than a 10 minute walk.. The bleacher seats are the real challenge though
