Chris Perry and Tyler Caldwell are representing the USA at the Pan-American Championships today in Chile, I think that it starts any minute now

Perry won 3-0 over Ecuador, 7-0 over Canada, 7-2 over Venezula to make the finals vs Cuba

Caldwell has yet to give up a point with wins over Col, ECU, and Cuba to make the finals.

Chris lost in the finals 3-1 to the Cuban.

USA won gold in every other weight except 57kg where they also took the silver. Tyler Caldwell won gold with a 9-0 victory at 74kg.

Just watched Perry's final match with the Cuban. He should have won the match. The Cuban made no shots or attempts with the exception of a pushout during the first 5:30 seconds of the match. Chris was by far the more active wrestler but with 30 seconds left and trailing 1-1 on basis of the last pushout he had to make an attempt to score and the Cuban was able to counter and get the two point takedown for a 3-1 win. The Cuban is not a good wrestler and I know he lost two times and possibly three times in the recent world cup. Still think Chris is undersized for this weight class.
