The powers will not stand for 4 or 5 AAC teams in the Dance. 3 will be the max. Tulsa must beat Cincy to ensure a spot.

I've said for the last two months that three is the max unless an upset occurs in the conference tourney (UConn).

I believe it'll be three no matter what.

Interesting that Lunardi has 4 AAC teams in this morning.

SMU as a 6
Tulsa as an 11
Temple as an 11
Cincy as an 11 play-in

Temple is in solely because of their win over Kansas I am getting the feeling right now. Temple is the biggest KU fan on the planet the rest of this season.

Cincinnati will be done after Wednesday night and our place will be solidified.

Variable: UCONN. Run in conference tournament seems likely (and scary). Boatright is now getting help from Hamilton and Purvis to shoulder the scoring load. Makes them very scary as they tended to play 1-dimensional before that. Hamilton is a scary good player. If we finish 2, I want UCONN in the 4-5 brackets. If we finish 1 I want UCONN on the 3 line.

We have been through this before at Tulsa. We can't have any bad losses on our resume, especially to a DII team and ORU. We also didn't win against OSU, OU or WSU and we recently got run off the floor by UCONN (no matter the guys were sick).

We just need to keep winning! Cincinnati is next up, bring 'em on!

This. We show up for the ORU and SEOSU games and we're 23-5 with no bad losses and ranked for the majority of the season. We win those two and everyone would be talking about how this team isn't too far off that 2000 team.

Remember that we are now the auto-bid team in Lunardi's bracket. I do think we'd be a "Last 4 in" team, if we weren't the current AAC auto-bid team.

Wednesday night is bubble team vs. bubble team ! I can't remember a season quite like this !

We lost the ORU game in 2000 also.

The A10 also gets disrespected.

Hell, I'd much prefer Davidson, Rhode Island, St Mary's, BYU, Temple and Old Dominion over the like of a Texas, UCLA, Purdue, Illinois, Stanford or North Carolina State.

It's total BS.

21 of the first 45 RPI teams are from non power 5 conferences. Lots of really good teams from non bigs. I like Cincy and Temple's chances because of their respected names. Of course as long as win Wednesday we are in, SMU is a lock. The question is if UCONN wins the Tourney does that bump Cincy or Temple out or do all five get in.

Is it possible to get five in the Tourney is that realistic?

GO TU!!!!

I don't think so. Someone gets bumped if UCONN wins the tourney. The CBS lackeys were still plugging for UCONN to make the NCAAs without having to win the AAC tournament this past weekend although they did admit that it was a long shot. I think 4 is a stretch and that occurs if Cincinnati or UCONN win the tournament. I would like to think if we win tomorrow we are solidly in without having to win the AAC tournament.

We win tomorrow and we're dancing. I do think a TU win knocks Cincy to the wrong side of the bubble.

Or we could just win out the regular season and then win the conference tourney :D

A fan can dream, right? Haha no, it's a pipe dream.

If we lose tomorrow and win @smu, I think we are in.

If we win tomorrow and lose @smu, we are probably in but still have to win at least 1 game in Hartford.

If we lose both tomorrow AND Sunday, we can forget about it.
