OU men's golf kicks off this weekend just down the road from me at Grayhawk. OU is #1 seed. If any of you are in the area there are a few OU events planned by the Sooner Club. The girls just finished at the same location. Ole Miss beat Oklahoma State in the finals. My Prediction: It will be a great weekend for Sooners!

OU is doing well. They are placed #2 in the overall. OSU is #1 but 10 under of their -12 is one guy. That’ll not serve OSU well in match play.
Match Play: OU defeats Illini 3-2. Next up is Arizona State at 4 pm CST in the semi-finals. OSU plays Pepperdine in the semis. We could have an OU vs OSU finals for 2021 National Championship.

OU are not deep. They have 4 that can play with anyone in Match Play but #5 (G. Reband) is no where to be seen. They tried two different guys on Tuesday and both were beaten early and bad. If they can find someone that can at least stay around until 17 or 18 then the other 4 can march to victory. It only takes three to win but often a bad showing by one can be detrimental to others.

By all appearances OU does not practice putting. OU missed several (+10) putts by very narrow margins to tie or lose holes. Reband, OU's top 5 national player lost every round he played in this week.
