conversation started on "Dean Reiber commits thread"
because I wanted to reply to those who take offense if someone who moved to one state from another state uses the state they moved from when asked :where are you from"?
and not be part of changing the subject from Reiber to arguing over where you are from opinions.

My opinion:
When in the state I'm living in now, I say Jersey because that's where I was raised.
When out of the state living in now I say the state currently residing.
Visiting someplace I feel when asked where from they want to know where you're visiting from.
When in the State you live in, I feel you're being asked where you were raised.
If raised in the same state, you can either say the city you live now or raised in .
