I know an academic ranking doesn't impact the score of a basketball game, but it means something to me. As a proud UK alum, I think the university and most members of the SEC need to step it up! Here's how we're doing per the "2022 Best Colleges" ranking from U.S. News & World Report. I've included the ACC schools for a comparison of conferences.

It ain't pretty!

Are you under the impression that this is news? It’s no secret that the SEC lags behind other major conferences in academic rankings. We already knew that, and it’s not something that can be easily fixed overnight.

This thread is just another one of your lame attempts at “subtle” trolling, a way bash on UK and the SEC while pretending it’s concern. Your schtick is SO transparent, you’re a joke.

What do you expect when most of the SEC is a safety school?

This x a billion. OP is so FOS that his eyes are brown. He always starts controversial topics, ‘we’, ‘us’ ‘I’m a proud alum’, etc etc. Then he sneaks away. He’s a troll which also equates to I liar.

UK has always been pretty solid at academics. Now when compared to Duke and Vandy. Lol. Of course not. Those are major D1 PRIVATE schools. And not to mention internationally renowned private schools. not to mention major medical research institutions.

If you go oversees and mention Duke or Vanderbilt in developed parts of the world, you will get nods and conversation.

UK has been in the “honor roll” of NCAA academics many many times. We’re fine.
