OT - Top times for a beer

Hey y'all, just about to head on a golf trip and me and a buddy were discussing our top 3 times for a beer. Thought it would be fun to see what everyone else thinks.

My top 3
1. After mowing beer
2. Airport Beer
3. Waiting for wife to get ready for a date beer.

The older I get the less I drink but I'd say a Memorial Day/4th/Labor Day BBQ checks the boxes for me

2. Football all day, chores done, Saturdays beer.
3. Log cabin, wilderness, sunset, beer and cigar beer.
4. Chilling on a beach on vacation sunset and waves crashing ice cold beer.
5. Last trip walking around Amsterdam, drinking Heineken talking to locals in all the pubs was cool beers

#1 for me is while eating hot wings and conversation with my friends
#2- Watching other adult men tear up the driveway to prepare for new concrete. Ok, I just learned #2 was awesome. My nephew and I drank three beers in the time it took them to tear up half the driveway. His two sons were sitting on their little lawn chairs eating their chicken nuggets enjoying the show with us. We were a a live action King Of The Hill parody sketch. "That there's a fine machine Joe".

On the way to the bar or restaurant so I don't have to pay for more than I absolutely have to. Before sex. After a mountain bike ride. I work from home and am off at 3:30 most days, and I definitely never have one, or two, before I clock out. Nope.

The Best was coming down after a game with that first dip of chew and that first ice cold beer.

Or after a hard days work outside on a hot day, slapping a steak on the grill and having that first dip and cold beer.

"#10 - on top of a fourteener" You are tougher than me. I don't even like to drink beer at Two Elk Lodge at the top of Vail. I think it is at 11,500 feet. I wait until I get down to Dos Amigo's or the Red Lion.

1. After playing sports or bird hunting. 2. Watching Sports 3. Most waking hours when I am back in Nebraska. 4. New Year's Eve. My wife and I throw an early NYE party. 4pm to about 8-9 pm. People like the time. For some that is the only party they go to. For others it is just a warm-up. I like it because I do not have to leave my house and more importantly for the last 10-12 years I've done a Dry January. Not just alcohol but I try to eat healthy too. Reset the old body.
