Live Nation owns Ticketmaster

Monopoly alert.

80% of all ticket sales in this country go through these misers.

Jacked up prices.

Got my wife tickets to Jason Aldean at the Brandon Amphitheater. Almost $300 per ticket in the back section.

And you can't choose your seats. I like to try to sit on the end of the row because of (Beer and Bladder) trips to the pissser.

Ted Nugent (spare me the b#ching about his political views, please) had an interview with an AG about a lawsuit 40 states in the US have with TM/LN. We'll see where it goes.

Truth

Most of the time I use cash to buy tickets for shows at Duling Hall to keep from paying extra fees…

Of course sometimes you got to pay those fees when it’s a show that could sell out quickly like Kingfish’s in a couple weeks…

Wait… You couldn’t use the map to choose where to be?

Now that’s odd

Yea.... I dont think thats right. You may have had the toggle for "best price" selected when you were choosing your tickets. I have been to quite a few shows at the amphitheater and choose my seats every time. I just purchased tickets for Koe Wetzel a couple of weeks ago and I chose those as well.

It may depend on the what show it is. I didn't see an option to choose specific seats, just a section. Of course, I may be doing it all wrong.

You can still choose seats right now. I think what you guys are doing wrong is just not zooming in. It defaults to show the section and then you can zoom in and pick your seats.

I always get end of the row seats whenever possible. I’m doing everyone else a favor because I will absolutely be getting up multiple time to drink, eat, pee.

If you wait it out and don’t buy the tickets so early, they’re cheaper. Do it all the time. Never pay above $100 unless it’s Skynyrd; I will see them til Johnny VanZant says “I quit.”

I understand that if you want to see live music played by well-known artists, you have a hard time avoiding these absolute pieces of ****.

I'm glad my days of caring much about seeing big acts live are long past, because I'd have a very hard time doing anything that put money in the pockets of this company or it's employees...
