I called FGCU (formerly known as Dunk City) for 4 tickets for their home opener on Wednesday Nov. 25 when they host Florida A&M. They said to call back next week. For the time being, tickets are only available to season ticket buyers and a limited student allotment. If I remember correctly, they are allowing like 25% capacity, which I guess means something like 1200 attendees. I think the on-campus arena sits about 4500-5000. I believe season ticket buyers will be reimbursed for tickets, if they call the ticket office ahead of time, if they choose not to attend individual games.

I understand they will have a limited number of seats for sale to non season ticket holders . I'm a season ticket holder and just for this season because of social distancing I was moved from a center court section to one section over and 7 rows back . I will have 2 empty seats to my left and right and no one directly in front of me . Crowds in the last few years have tailed off significantly since Dooley left for East Carolina .

I was an FCGU season ticket buyer for a few years. I found myself missing too many games, so I gave them up. Alico Arena is a wonderful place to watch a game. And yes, the program’s fortunes have gone down since N.J.-native Dooley returned to ECU for a second stint.
