I usually use Willinghams seasoning when I grill, but it is getting hard to find. Which seasoning do you use and/or what is similar to Willinghams?

I have a wide variety I use. Some of my favorites are:

jody’s Asian persuasion and mccormicks honey sriracha on grilled shrimp. Sometimes I’ll glaze with franks red hot sweet chili sauce.
Melissa Cookstons basic bbq rub , recipe online, as a base on ribs and most anything else. .

Boars night out white lightning and double garlic butter for accent or a change of pace.
Sully’s grill dust as an accent flavor.

Also played around trying to make an all purpose rub. The wife and I really like it. I’ve used it as a table seasoning, on steaks, thick slice pork chops, and chicken. Chicken it was too salty, but works great on everything else so far. I think the measurements are 5 salt, 3 garlic powder, 2 black pepper, 2 onion powder, 1/2 cayenne pepper.

Then there’s Cavendar’s. It’s good on just about anything.

i've become a fan of the jack daniels chicken rub recently when grilling or smoking chicken. those grilled wings i did a few weeks ago with that rub were outstanding. no sauce needed on those wings.

The Willingham's were patients of my wife for years. His wife and mine were talking one day about me experimenting with making my own rub. His wife said that his main ingredient was Lowery's seasoned salt. I've been using it in mine ever since.
Try getting a bottle and experimenting with your own rub or copying John's.

The Meat Church’s rubs are good. I picked up his Honey Hog and Holy Voodoo a while back. Both have been solid. Fox’s is pretty good too if you want something more savory.

I also keep a big shaker mixed up of salt, pepper and garlic. Those 3 flavors go well as a base layer on basically every protein. You can always build up from that.

+1 for Cavendar’s. Started out using it on chicken quarters years ago, but like you, I’ve found that it’s a great all-purpose base seasoning for pretty much anything. Chicken, beef, seafood, veggies, potatoes.... you name it

I know we’re talking seasonings, but I’ll put in a good word for Captain Rodney’s glazes too. They go really well on sausage, pork, or shrimp during the last 30 minutes or so of the cook

I've gone through a lot of Meat Church's stuff. It's solid. I like Kosmos more. I think the flavors are bolder and the the price is better.

Rebel Rub, I hate the name, but it is salt, pepper, garlic, sugar, paprika, onion powder, and coriander. I have used it with great success on pretty much all proteins. I agree with Strat that salt, pepper, and garlic is a great base for pretty much anything. There is also https://www.jonesyq.com/jonesy-bbq-rubs I love these guys.
