Yes, I know, this is a football board,
But, we are all Rutgers, please, I beg you,
Support this Coach and the basketball team, this year has been frustrating
But I believe the worst is behind us,
With the new players coming in, and with possibly the coach of the year, (yes I know hard to believe but, that's what the anounswers said) I feel basketball is on the right track, students, make it happen,
Don't give up,soon, I know you will be proud of RU basketball, Go RU!!

This team plays very hard but does not know how to close/finish. However, they are moving in the right direction. One or two more key athlete and not only do they win this game they do it with authority. I watched the game and yes I see promise, now the coach needs seal a quality big man and a shooting guard that can rebound.

These guys are much, much better. The games last year were unwatchable. 2 to 3 years they will be in the dance
If these coaches can recruit I agree. They definitely can coach, no doubt about that. If they can't get the players then we'll begin the merry go round again in another 5 to 6 years. Man I really hope they get the players, but they're going to have to sell their vision. Because wins are going to be lacking, this collection of players just doesn't have B1G caliber talent.

Shoulda won today. Heartbreaker.
Absolute torture. I stopped watching the games with my friends. I got tired of trying to answer the question "How could they be this bad ?"

Talk about the gang that couldn't shoot straight
We've got a long, long way to go.

The Basketball team is on the right track. If they could shoot a fringing free throw. We would have won 4 to 6 more games.

Hit "a" free throw is right. Maybe someday we'll hit several. Still got a ways to go.

If you have any respect for the game of basketball, it is very hard to watch Corey (although he's much more 'reserved' this year).

If you have any respect for the game of basketball, you'd realize there are a lot of ways to play it... thankfully

Wrong. Corey's reckless abandon and wild shots are in no way acceptable. You're wrong, sizzlechest. Now get back to knitting or whatever you do on a Sunday nights. Ok, chief?

Lol. What's with the wild talking? I wish I was relaxing knitting. The whole team plays too wild and careless for the level of talent we have.

I an curious about the ladies with an experienced hall of fame coach that has made final 4s.
Since I don't follow daily news for the ladies I have to ask those who know:
- are they playing mostly young players
- do they have injuries to top players
- do they have transfer players sitting out this year

I just find it very tough to believe the ladies are as bad as their record this year.

I watched the women's game on big 10 network on Saturday. We are just bad. I didn't even see the same level of defense we have played in the past. None of our starters would start on most teams. Disappointing.
