This may have been brough up before but who has a pregame ritual? Whether it’s a snack, drink, food, shirt??? I sit in the same place on the couch wearing the same shorts and shirt. Hasn’t changed for a while now. Have my favorite beverage close by and the remote far away...I’ve gone through too many remotes in the past to replace anymore, right @CRAZIE4LIFE???

I usually don't do anything except to post on K-ville's thread. If I'm at home I stay pretty much quite. My wife has become somewhat interested and has began to watch it with me. Sometimes she will throw her hands over her head and say "Marvin Bagley." She likes Grayson Allen saying he can really shoot it and he's nice looking. She likes Jack White. Like I said if I'm at home watching it I want no talking or asking questions so sometimes I ask her to be quiet. OFC

For game nights when I don’t have to work the next day, I start with one Budweiser bottle in the first half, make a plate with nuts, fruit, cheese and crackers. The second half is 1 glass of brown liquor on ice. If we win, post game ice cream scoop. If we lose, an extra swig of brown.

I wait 20 minutes after the game starts before I start watching it on DVR. That way I can skip commercials. Usually have a cigar at halftime.

One exception = UNC games. Always watch those live.

How serious I take watching UNC games live: my wife was on her way home with her friend from doing some sightseeing. It was the night of the UNC game last weekend. She had her friend text me that she’ll get me something sweet if I wait til 5:30 to start the game (tip was 5:15) bc they were running late. I responded with “I consider asking me to not watch the UNC/Duke game live an act of terrorism. Tell my wife I don’t negotiate with terrorists.” I thought it was funny, wife not so much (she’s a big Duke fan).

I'm not bad as I was when I was younger, but my wife does laugh at me when I tell her I have to get in my chi mode.

And yes I've broken a remote and recliner before, now that I'm married I have to just turn the channel till I call down.

I can't do it during the week because my wife and I have a 10 year old, but definitely weekend games I go over to my mom and dad's house and watch them with him. You ofc's would like him a lot. His distaste for Carolina happened during Dean's time. The 4 corners and his whining made him despise the Holes more than he likes Duke.

I would always skate out, scuff up my crease, get in net and hit the posts, then go out and take a straight angle and an angle to each side, then back into net and give the posts another wack. I’d then obsessively jiggle my head and clack my throat guard a bit.

Oh... you mean WATCHING a game! Nope, nothing here:)

Hard to explain to the representaive at the satellite store what happened. Although a few years ago I took one back to the store. The guy ask what happened and I started with “I was watching the game last night...” he just handed me a new remote and said I’m a Duke fan too.

I usually watch Duke games at home alone in my bedroom but every once in awhile I’ll watch at my local bar when we play on a night that have plans to go out but I’ll also DVR the game so I can watch it again tomorrow, probably before the championship game if/when we win tonight

Don't get to do it enough, but my favorite is to play golf during the day with some friends then hit a sports bar for the game.....or, I throw some ribs in the smoker early in the day and put plenty of Miller lites in a cooler. By game time the ribs are falling off the bone and the beer is cold enough to hurt your teeth.

I "try" not to get too upset as I used to , but I had a dog.....true story....who could hear the ESPN music da da da...da da da....and he would get up and go up stairs as soon as he heard it!!!

Sounds like an antibiotic dosage - consistent and effective.
