I’m new to the sport and am really enjoying it. It’s lots of fun and less demanding physically than tennis. Anyone else playing it much? My primary question is does a specific brand/type of paddle make a difference? Any recommendations? I’ve looked at several on Amazon, and of course all of them have similar ratings (if you trust those).

Havent played it but its taken off pretty big in Meridian. Northwood CC is having to build 4 stand alone pickleball courts because the mobile ones they set up on the tennis courts are being used so much some of the regular tennis players arent getting to play as often as they like. They've got right around 100 regular players

I retired in '99 after I won the doubles tournament in my high school gym class.

Its cool to see the game has become popular in the last few years. Our local Y's have pickeball daily in the middle of the day for oldtimers and its a popular game with an adult courts park recently built where you can drink, eat, and pickle all you want.
