I just picked one up for the deck and seasoned it. Does anyone have favorite recipes? I'm dangerous with a pellet grill, but this is uncharted territory.

Do a reverse sear from your pellet, right onto a piping hot flattop. Go super smoke until it hits about 115. Then about 75 seconds a side on a buttered flat top. perfect medium rare.
I agree with Phillys. Fried rice is easy, and always a hit with everyone. I personally utilize it the most for breakfast. When the kids have friends over for sleepovers, they know I can crank out pancakes very fast. Of course smash burgers is a must as well

I'm glad I bought the smallest blackstone to try out, not a huge fan. Its fine for everything you guys mentioned, but I don't cook huge batches of stuff so it's just as effective to use a skillet inside. I hate cleaning that greasy MFer.

I had an evo years ago and sold it because it was a massive pain to clean. The one time I have cooked on a blackstone (breakfast burritos), it was much easier to clean. The circular grease trap on the evo is a terrible design.

Same. I have the small one. I’ve used it twice, but don’t look forward to the cleanup. I love my Weber kettle. When the cook is over, the lid goes on, and I don’t touch it until the next cook. Next cook burns off all the crud from the last

Yep, I'm a Weber kettle guy, and a cheap pellet grill also.

I have one but I’m getting rid of it, I like it but where I live the wind really effects it, and I don’t want to put it inside my garage or other out buildings while it’s cooking
