Unfortunately, college sports is so screwed up from the NCAA being "allowed" to "run" things for so long that no one else now wants to assume the role of overseer. The whole environment has been a lawsuit or two from blowing up in everybody's face for decades. Eventually we'll be able to follow the money to whatever "solution" shakes out. But, then again, that kind of action (or inaction) is probably what got us here in the first place, isn't it? Go RU!

Classic NCAA. Making an example of someone who is really no one. Players at major programs are literally turning their umbrellas upside down to catch the torrential downpour of money, and they're punishing Fordham for this? This is a clear example of their selective enforcement ethos.

So let me get this straight. There is a $75 daily recruiting limit but it's perfectly legal now to offer recruits millions of dollars in NIL?

Yes. and taking pictures is a major NCAA violation

The NCAA is truly the most inept organization

Since the NCAA is such a weak organization now, couldn’t Fordham sue the ever-loving **** out of them for non-consistent application of their own policies?

At this point I can’t see the NCAA winning any suit thrown at them regardless of its objective.
