OT - National Harbor

Here, I'll throw my upcoming trip into the 'Pack and see what wisdom is revealed.
Headed to National Harbor, MD in a few weeks and have never been there. 2 kids under 4, so I'm anticipating alot of hotel pool and easy activities that aren't too time consuming.

Any thoughts?

It’s clear from the threads today that the recent CWS trip meant that everyone obviously pulled lots of equity out of the old mobile homes… lots of traveling by SPS posters**

I’ve never been to national harbor but the DC area in general is one of my favorite metro areas, especially with kids. All the Smithsonian museums in DC are free and great for kids. Alexandria is an awesome place to walk around and see some old buildings. Mt Vernon is one of the best things I’ve done in DC. Not staying in DC means getting an Uber but I believe Uber has the car seat option in DC.

We went up there a couple of times when our son was young. He loved it. We stayed with family in Mclean VA. We always had a rental car but to get into town we would park at one of the Falls Church Metro stops and take that. That is really easy. It runs into Maryland as well.
