Herbstreit made a point to mention the booing at Ohio State games in the pre announcement show today. Said OSU might be better off playing on the road because of their fans booing the team if they don’t score early enough.

Earlier in his broadcast career, Herbstreit lived in Columbus. He eventually moved his family to Nashville. He mentioned that the bitterness that he experienced by trying to be an objective college football broadcaster and living in Columbus and being a former OSU player and alum was too much. Frankly, it’s not just OSU. It’s a tough season for objective journalists anywhere. There are many disturbed and delusional people out there. I’m sure he is fine with his son choosing Michigan.

I had read somewhere with the scholarship limit being raise to 105 Chase received a scholarship instead of being a walk on
