My impression is that Jokic loves basketball but hates all the hype and pageantry of the NBA. Kind of refreshing, really.

He does come across as basketball is a job with some hobby like enjoyment but certainly not his first love. Do you think that perspective has helped him get this good, or if he was say Kobe passionate he’d even be that much more all time elite?

He is literally the only reason to watch the NBA. Most talented player I have seen play in my lifetime. And he is an incredible teammate. Crazy thing is he can put stats just like he does in the NBA in a defense heavy league as well. He absolutely dominated the Olympics.
