Saw them Monday night in Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado. I want to share my video. This is towards the end of the show, in the encore.

Yes. I'm back in Texas today. Had a blast. Watched the Huskers play Illinois @ Bender's Bar & Grill in Westminster on Saturday evening.

Sunday, I went to Georgetown in the mountains. Went through Guanella Pass. Views of Mt Bierstadt and Mt Evans. Loved it.

Ate a coney (chili, cheese and onions) at Coney Island Boardwalk in Bailey.

These ladies were prepared to tailgate in Colorado.

Red Rocks was an awesome venue. Anyways, give me some love. Check out the video. Wish I was closer for sure. Was all general admission. Haven't done that since my Texxas Jam days back in the 80s.

I wonder if that Cobra is the one my ex-father-in-law's neighbor owned and that I got to ride in one cold, fall night in Evergreen, Colorado. No, he wouldn't let me drive it. Smart man.

How is Bender’s as a watch site? It’s pretty close to where I live and I was there prior to the Colorado game, but I’ve never watched a Husker game there.

Too bad the aspens are turning late this year, but looks like you still took in a lot of great scenery.

Looks like a nice trip. Not a big fan of GVF. If you took the same trip to see Lamb of God, then I would have been all in.

Used to fish Clear Lake on the Georgetown side of Guanella Pass...when it was worth fishing and before "they" began messing with it. HS graduation at Red Rocks....no better place!

GVF does sound nice. First time I ever heard them on the radio, I thought, wait I've heard every Zeppelin song, I dont know this one.

Says something they sound that much like one of the best bands of all time. But also hurts them in a strange way. But I'll take it as Im sure theyll find their own sound more and more, and we need some new rock that rocks.

Awesome. So cool to have a young rock and roll band do well. Saw Rival Sons a few months back, and they would be tough to beat. I would like to give GVF the opportunity to try one day, though.

This is how I feel, too. I also think that despite sounding like the real deal, they haven't yet put it together to make truly great songs. What they NEED to do quickly is work with an awesome producer like Butch Vig or Rick Rubin to tighten up their songs. Then, watch out, they'll be huge.

Didn't she marry the former Shocker point guard, Fred?
You know, I'm a BIT of a SHOCKsker(though not really...I follow Husker hoops passionately) but I have found that the QUICKEST way to get under WSU fan's skin is to call him Van FLEET...:)

I've been there three times I think in the last 3 years. I'm not big on the watch site experience, but it is a decent place with good turnout and service. Drawings for door prizes, discounts for Coloradans for Nebraskans.
