OT: Gomez to NY Mets...

Apparently this trade didn't go through, and for that, i'm thankful. Yes, Gomez would get more production than that of Lagares in CF right now, but isn't worth the talent of losing Z. Wheeler and W. Flores.

Wheeler is a front of the rotation guy who will be outstanding when he returns from Tommy John surgery and I still believe in Flores' at-bat potential. Gomez is a guy who is declining production and i believe has had his most productive days behind him.

Your thoughts?
