My 9 yo son is a big LeBron James fan so a Christmas present for him this year will be a trip to Cleveland for a Cavs game in February. I know...Cleveland in February seems more like punishment than a present. Never been to a Cavs game (or an NBA game for that matter) and I am wondering if anyone who has been there has any advice for us. We are staying at a hotel about 6 blocks from the arena. Just wondering about the area around the arena up there and if it is safe to walk. The hotel said we will be fine, but I doubt they want to tell me if their hotel is in a crappy area of town. Anyone ever been and can offer advice?
Will probably try to add a visit to the Rock n Roll HOF or the Pro Football HOF in Canton. I've been to the football HOF before but not for about 15 years. Never been to RnR HOF.
