They keep making references that he’s the best transfer this season. But that’s ok because we have weak fun-size guards. We’re fine.

If there is any player whose decision to leave ,and when, hurt us more please let us know.
Dahntay jones . His leaving killed the program for years and led to Bannon getting canned.
Plus , it was a different world then where jones was meant to be a 4 year mainstay.
Spencer was a hired gun and is now a rutgers graduate ! Loyal son

I’m sure Pike had his chance to match or beat any offer too bad We came up short. The season could have been fun.

Watching the UConn offense - it’s similar to our offense except they pass the ball and can actually hit shots. I don’t think the offensive system is the problem here. We’re just not good at basketball.

Spencer was a hired gun and is now a right graduate ! Loyal son
Are you sure he actually got his diploma from RU. Loyal son?? A loyal son doesn't screw you that bad. Anyways it's just another reason to root against Uconn.

He's UConn's best player. Not best prospect, but best player. He'd be our best ball handler, best 3 PT shooter, best FT shooter, best rebounding guard, best steal guy.
He was my favorite player last year. Once he left my heart sunk knowing there would be a huge drop off in offensive production. He was our best and most consistent shooter, which he just showed today against the Jonnies. Without Cam, I believe UCONN would be lucky to be in the top 20 let alone number 1.

Cam is a good player and Rutgers misses his talent.
But Spencer is a mercenary that takes his talent to where it will benefit him best.
Nothing wrong with that.
Consider him a rental, just like so many other college players are today, that felt he'd get a better deal by leaving RU than if he stayed

The only thing he has to be loyal to is his wallet.
Hey, I would have loved to see him stay, but no one who is objective can say he didn’t make the best decision possible for himself. He got paid well, he is leading the #1 team in the country, he is getting major kudos from around the basketball world for how well he is playing, UConn runs a much better system for his skill set, and he has upped his pro potential significantly.

You could field an entire team with the players who transferred out of RU and ended up in the tourney.

They have talented shooters at every starting position. The half court offense is far better with Karavan playing. He was out with a ankle sprain.

At this point we are football and basketball feeder programs.
who left the football program.
As for Cam, he committed to Loyola of Maryland out of High School , then on to RU for a year before moving on to UConn.
He is the new breed of mercenary that jumps to where he thinks it's best for him.
As for feeder program???
My opinion is : RU MBB is a taker more than a feeder when it comes to the comings and goings of its players
