So just looked at his history. And seriously, why aren't we suing the NCAA over this?
2022 - played 4 games at Elizabeth City State
2023 - played 10 games at Elizabeth City State as a redshirt FR
2024 - Played 11 games at Wagner as a redshirt SO
2025 - on spring roster at Kansas St. - transferred to UAB and played 11 games

Why aren't we all over suing them claiming 2022 was a redshirt year.

We are getting screwed over by the NCAA as usual. The issue apparently is that Division 2 didn't recognize the up to 4 game redshirt rule until the 2023 season (Div 1 started this in 2018) , so the NCAA is counting the 4 games at Elizabeth CIty State in 2022 as a used year of eligibility. This would seem to be a MUCH, MUCH better argument for an additional year for Sneh than Chambliss has at OM where he is wanting a medical redshirt year for a year that he wasn't even injured to gain another year of eligibility.

And the way we're handling it vs the way UMiss handled it tells you everything you need to know about why they're where they are right now and we're where we are.

No doubt they are way more serious about winning than we are, especially in football, but that's nothing new. The NIL era just lets them emphasize the thing they are really good at, throwing money around.

Does seem like the guy himself really wants to fight it. He's talking about trying to go pro.

If that's the case it's even worse on our staff. Why take a guy who doesn't want to be here?

He probably got to Starkville and realized Jeff Lebby isn’t a serious football coach.

Lebby is cooked btw and we haven’t even made it to the spring game.

Sneh got used to having a Target in Birmingham. I think most if not all NFL teams are in cities that have a Target. Can't blame him for trying to maintain that kind of lifestyle instead of settling for the Starkville neighborhood Walmart

The Lebby Lovers are running out of excuses.

Our football program is an embarrassment under this incompetent buffoon.
I completely agree that Lebby was a mistake. I am just curious who, in the world, would still be a serious Lebby Lover at this point? We have basically done nothing to address our OL issues despite the tempo tax argument I am engaged in with the guy with two personalities. I do not think we have to look far for excuses. I think Lebby has proven to be so far in over his head at this point that there is no need to look for any more excuses. It is time to cut bait. I say all of that as someone that will throw away thousands of dollars next year in club-level seats to watch Lebby struggle.

My wife and sister both tried to talk me out of it, and not because we could not afford it anymore, but because they both said last year took a toll on my health. I literally have been to every major home since 86, and the family has been season ticket holders since then, and today was the first time I have ever had anything like that happen. I did think about what in the 17 am I doing. There are a lot of better ways to drop this cash than watching Captain Neck Beard sail the Titanic into another iceberg. But I do believe to be a real fan you have to be a fan, regardless of outcome.

I thought Hadad said the kid didn’t want to fight it. If that’s the case, what do you expect us to do? Make him?

I get your point, but I also believe in picking your battles. Making a huge production and expensive legal clown show over a dude who couldn’t even hack it at Kansas State a year ago and wasn’t even Top 50 at his position in the portal is a waste of time and money. It’s very, very different from pulling out all the stops for a QB that finished Top 10 in the Heisman voting.

That money can be much better spent trying to get a 2027 OT that’s actually worth a damn, paying some of Lebby’s buyout, or doing just about anything else. It’s not an indictment against the program that we aren’t going to bat for him, but it is however a big asś indictment against the program that we ever actually needed him in the first place.

So when can we expect we’ll fight ANY battle? We won’t.

The most Mississippi State Thing Ever would be for the admin to bow up, strap on the jock, sue the hell out of the ncaa, win the lawsuit, and watch Sneh walk away without playing a down.

This guy has had a hell of a glow up… to the sec from Elizabeth city state…. Sounds like an online diploma mill.

ETA: I guess it’s questionable to call us a real sec program with Lebby at the helm.

If there’s ever one worth fighting, we’ll figure it out I suppose.

I mean, Jeffrey Simmons only got suspended 1 game his freshmen season. Our issue is we can’t even close to getting that level of player any more.
