It doesn't matter until you get up to the commercial grade tents that cost 5-10 times more than your basic $100 tent. Buy what everybody else has and go on campus early sunday morning after the inevitable thunderstorm game and scavenge for spare parts from all the abandoned tents.

I have the perfect resolution. We change our school colors to Blue and White.

Here is a new Cheer for our Cheer-girls to learn.

"Bulldogs, Bulldogs, Blue and White. Bulldogs, Bulldogs Fight-Fight-Fight!

I figure we could get Walmart to co-sponsor the change.

We would need to get some new t-shirts in ten different shades of blue for our very diverse fan base.

I figure you're kidding, but I've actually done this several times at the beach.

The tent that I have in my garage right now I got exactly this way. One of the supports was broken and I braced it back together.

NO I'm actually serious. Two years ago I think, there was a storm during the game and tents went everywhere. The next morning about 7 I rode the cart up to the Junction and the clean up crew had a dump truck just throwing all the abandoned tents in it to haul off. I went ahead of them and got 4-5 maroon canopys and found 2 undamaged frames that were missing the canopy's.

I'm a tent scavenger too, we've got several tents all alike and anytime we see one of the same brand thrown away we grab, scavenge, and save parts
