At least the Nets, I can say Kyrie doesn't land on Giannis foot they win easily.

Ya Embiid is hurt but....Simmons was a disaster.
And this isn't new.
Every year it's "why won't Simmons work on his shooting?"

How many off season "look at me hit this 3 in an empty gym" IG posts have we seen? Then nothing during the season.

Giannis isn't a great shooter.
But at least he is willing to take a shot (maybe too many) and get fouled.
Simmons won't even take shots.

That pass off under the hoop was embarrassing.

The ball is never suppose to end up in Simmons' hand with a short shot clock. There are much better shooters. His 56% shooting comes from wide open looks, lay-ups and put backs. If it's not one of those, he should be passing the ball. With those limited skills,
minus terrible FT shooting, plus pretty good defense, he's not one of the top 15 players in the NBA (16th per ESPN). Embiid is so freaking good that he makes the rest of the team look better than they are.

Head case. Reminds me of Markell Fultz.

I think Boston was going to take Tatum (and not Fultz) at #1 if they don't trade.
But image if Sixers make the trade to #1 and fake out everyone to take Tatum.

Tatum and Embiid would have made for a totally different East (and league) the past couple of years.

‪How come Bryce Harper is getting a pass in Philly for his above average stats while Ben Simmons is about to get run out of town for his?‬

BTW, the Nets are the third NBA team to prove that they can win without Kylie. They would’ve won Game 7 if Durrant’s shoe size was an inch smaller.

TNT showed the amount of shots that Simmons took in the 4th quarter of all 7 games. They were so mind boggling that you would have thought he was hurt in all of them.

I think in 4 of the 7 games, he did not attempt even ONE field goal attempt, including the last 3 games. Makes over $30 mil a year and never shoots the ball because he is basically afraid to take foul shots.

He is so athletic, that eventually some coach will get the most out of him. If you look at his stat lines from most of the year, he did average probably 16 points a game.

Best of Luck,

Idk how you can watch the nets and think Kyrie is even close to a problem. Healthy Kyrie, Nets win in 5, even without harden. Kyrie had an absolutely incredible season.

The last time I watched an entire NBA game was when Jordan was with the Bulls. I would watch Drexel play Tarleton State before I would watch an NBA game, but I know who Simmons is because the staff and callers are always bashing him on 94.1. Are we talking Ryan Leaf/Tim Couch/Gino Torretta level bust ?

Last time I watched a complete NBA game was.....last night.

Ok for the next irrelevant question that nobody asked:
When was the last time you watched a complete rugby match?

Not even close. Simmons is a 6’11 point guard. He’s worth having in the lineup just for his defense

Ben Simmons needs out of Philly the expectations are and were to great for him to handle.
In a less intense fan environment Ben might prove to be a very good player, just not the great one he was expected to be coming out of college.

Philly, NYC & LA can spit out so called great talent like trash if those players don't produuce and some the cause is they couldn't handle the type of presser put on the players that play in those cities.

Ben might need a Denver/Milwalkee type of envirment to play his best.

Just wondering if there is some secret forum society that passes out merit badges for how many times the same people can post over and over again in OT NBA threads that they do not watch the NBA.

The people that do not watch are missing out on some terrific basketball. Coaches have to adjust from one game to the next. The overtime was ugly, but the Nets-Milwaukee game had like 25 lead changes in it and was a great game.

The people here that keep saying that there is no defense played in the NBA, are talking without knowing anything or just don't watch any games.

It is everyone's right to watch what they want, but for sports fans that don't watch any NBA, I really don't see why, unless maybe they are just flat out racists.

Best of Luck,

I admit I didn’t watch a single game during the season and I started watching the playoffs after LeBron was eliminated. I’m actually enjoying the fact that for the first time I can remember, I don’t hate a single team in the East or West Finals and it’s something to turn to every night right after another Met gets injured (So far, only Stroman tonight).

Didn't Fultz suffer a shoulder injury that included a damaged nerve plus a subsequent shot mechanics change?

Yup. Think he had turned the corner in Orlando before tearing his ACL early this season - had a pair of 20+ in 8 games before going down. Think a team with Joel, Markelle and Jimmy could have been something pretty special.

other than Embiid, who was injury prone coming out of KU, has any team done less with massive draft capital than the 76ers? drafted Simmons and Fultz # 1, Noel # 6 (and traded for Holiday which was good, but let him go). the Nets genius Billy King gave Celtics 2 draft picks that eventually became Brown and Tatum (they traded Nets pick with 76ers to drop to 3 and still took Tatum).

all this said, I am still sick of Bucks stealing the series vs Nets...they played over their heads, stole game 3 where they came off the mat, no injuries to key players, despite Nets down 2 starts (Harden was a shell and APB still out on Joe Harris who shrunk). I know it's 1 game vs Hawks, but I will pull for winner of Suns/Clippers--think Suns somehow win the title...

You can thank the NBA for the Sixers doing less than they would have if left Hinkie to keep doing what he was doing. Noel would have been a perfect backup to Embiid. The Sixers would have gotten something for Okafor. I doubt they do the Fultz trade so still probably wind up with Fultz but keep the #1s. I could go on, but the Process never got to properly finish.
