OT - Anyone watching Locke and Key?

As usual, I don’t know anything about the graphic novels, but I’m hearing that Netflix toned down on the horror in order to make the show a little more family friendly. For me, I was hoping for something a lot closer to The Haunting of Hill House, but this series is definitely a lot more playful

So far, it’s been semi-enjoyable, but man is that kid that plays Bode annoying. I hate ripping on a young actor, but in my opinion, they really could’ve done better there. A lot better

I know nothing about the graphic novels but it really seems like they are trying to make it more palatable to fans of Stranger Things.

We watched the first episode yesterday with the sole purpose of finding a series we can watch with our 12 year old. It's good so far, not great, but good. Aloha!

I agree... the kid is pretty annoying. Not sure exactly what it is, but something is off.

Otherwise, I heard the same about toning down the horror which I wish they didn't. I'm about halfway through and enjoying it.
