Received a Bachelor's In Mechanical Engineering in 2014

Worked in the space industry for three years now...mainly project management tasks dealing with space fluid systems hardware or softgoods

Would like to find something in the NJ area that's a bit more technical

Industries I'm interested in but open to others as well:
- Chemical/Pharmaceutical
- Power Generation
- Aerospace/Defense

Message me if you can help, thanks!

Becton, Dickinson in Franklin Lakes is usually hiring Mechanical Engineers. Not exactly in the areas you listed though, unless you consider drug delivery pharmaceutical. Solid company with a beautiful campus, cafeteria and gym.

I'm constantly getting emails about them hiring MEs. But the people I know that worked there have said the place gets boring very quickly.

Maybe boring, but stable. I worked there for a while in the 1990's and like it a lot. But I worked in the legal department.

Lived in Kinnelon a couple of decades ago and had a neighbor who was a manager at Marotta Scientific in Montville. He loved working there. They build sub assemblies for NASA and the aerospace industry. http://marotta.com/talent/

Thanks for all the replies...oddly enough I have ties to most of the places you've mentioned

Marotta - Wanted valve experience when I had gotten in touch with a recruiter, didn't seem to like my proj management experience
(Valcor was a similar company in Springfield, waiting on them to respond...apparently going through a re-org)

Boeing - Interned there...I'll reach out to them but I'm trying to stay away from production work and rather do development type work
BD - Good friend working there right now, but not the most exciting field

I'll reach out to @Gimmy !

Beware of recruiters. In my experience, they are self-interested, and will steer you away from jobs that you are a good fit for if they have a better candidate for the same job, hoping to put you in another job. Years ago, I had a recruiter ask me for all the places I applied to, and I gave him the list--I was close to getting a job, and I found out later that he placed one of his candidates in that job.
