Only 15 Home Games?

Looking at whats been confirmed.

Total Games - 31.

10 B10 - Road Games
3 Vegas
1 Kennesaw.

That leaves 17 games. Rumors are 1 B10 Home game will be at MSG and 1 game vs HM Opp at Prudential.

That leaves us with 15 home games.

I get the two stars coming in and the demand at an all time high, but a 25% ish increase plus more in parking to have only 15 games - which is the lowest I can ever remember it being?

Leaves a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

I have no info, but it's possible that with the NIL tournament, the hunt for a MSG game or Rock game doesn't happen. Also, does the NIL tournament actually guarantee 3 games or is it lose and go home? That would have a significant impact.

It's a guaranteed three games.

Yeah agree with that for Prudential. Attendance last year vs Miss St was abymsal. Of course being right before Christmas didn't help either

Illinois 15-3, Tenn 14-2, Clemson 12-4, Duke 15-3

5 out of 8 had only 16 home games, it's not that big of a deal having 15-16 home games compared to 17-19 games. Rutgers is getting massive money from the B1G soon, I think they can give up a couple of home games for more of a national scheduling

I know it's only one game - but below 16 seems bad. I haven't found many P5 teams that have less than 16 home games

Those two games at PRU and MSG are HIME games on a neutral court. Just the way it goes. RU fans wanted a tournament… they got it… you can thank the B1G for the MSG screw job at MSG.

The games were losing if we do in fact lost 2-3 home games are games against the likes of Sacred Heart, Howard, Bucknell and NJIT… I’m a season ticket holder and gifted those tickets to friends and family in years past

Leave it to our fan base to complain even when we get what we clamored for

As Richie and mike said on pod… the waiting list this year was in the thousands for tickets… I’m willing to bet they’ll open the upper bowl at prudential center and those tickets will sell

Last year against miss st we were A) a bad team already by that time and B) the date wasn’t ideal

People are not seeing the big picture still… and even with the price increase we are still pretty cheap for season tix compared to most upper echelon p5 schools

There considered Home games on a neutral court… a nice gesture and a payback for the favor of A ) being still a new B1G team B) the chance to fill the World’s most famous venue.Even you could figure that out.

I think they knew it was 16 for some time. That’s why parking was $320, a cool $20 per up from $15 to pre buy last year. I’ll take my tinfoil hat off now.

Wisconsin - RU home
Michigan - RU away
MSU - RU home
*2024 - RU away?

It would be cheap to give up another home game this year. Im in favor of playing 1 game at MSG every year (to solidify our dominance over NYC, and stick it to SHU & St J and also MSG is the mecca) as long as it alternates home and away

Imho a lot more bang for your buck next year

With better competition and super exciting talent coming in each game at the RAC should be super fun

Just more proof that people will always find a reason to *****

Well my tickets went from 1575 to 2,000 a seat. Parking went from 275 to 320. If the total games goes down to 15 it feels a little ******. not complaining - but also we never get this type of talent and now that we do we are giving up home games left and right.

Im fine with an MSG game, but I don't think we need to do an MSG and Pru game in place of losing 2 home games

Duke is constantly at 16-18 with their loaded schedules

If we were an upper echelon team, people would have no problem paying more. But we're not anywhere close to an upper echelon team. Historically we're a program lucky to make the NCAA tournament. No games have been played, no banners have been hung, the prices have been increased on hope.

what he said about it two years ago and what the optics are the program in 2024 to play games at MSG and Pru are much different.

For national recognition and eyeballs on the program it’s a no brainer

You show as much of this hyped up class to the country in 2024-2025. That is what has happened. It’s not that tough to get to either venue and if you win it exposes the program in all directions Be happy for a change ..
