Ty deserved 2nd team but regardless it shows that we are still lacking talent. Keep building the young ones who want to be here and find proven players in the portal.
Don't worry, resident ball coach @oldjar07 thinks that dudes that don't even make honorable mention are massive losses that we need to make the playoff.

Winning matters. That said nfl scouts don’t give a **** about this crap. Ty will go high.. if not - then a team will get a steal
To be fair he changed his body even more in the off season and had far better performances deep into games.
Conditioning was elite this season. Kudos to him and our S&C group which is truly an elite group between S&C and Nutrition

The talent line across the conference is either a very fine line, or their walk on 4th stringer was a really heavy anchor to drag around. Crazy the discrepancy from that game and the all-conf pics

we look at talent coming in (recruiting rankings) around here because it tells a good story
everyone else looks at talent going out (NFL draft picks) because it's what actually matters
I would agree talent is an extremely fine line and good coaching staffs develop that fine line to get an edge. The last 10 years we have not done that - with the young guys we’ve been playing hopefully we will see us join the fray of those staffs who accomplish more with less.
A possible recruiting tool?
Only 1,000??? When I was in college, after benching 350 and squatting 500, I would routinely **** over 1,000 girls in a night. I just called that a typical Tuesday.

This is where I’m coming from. You mean to tell me Minnesota and Indiana can get (or develop) those kinds of players but Nebraska can’t???
It’s a combination of both. We’ve had a few too many overrated guys that we’ve brought in over the years. Bad prospects who look good on signing day because some guy gave them an extra star next to their name.
Every team is gonna miss on some four stars. I’d rather have a four star than a three.
We lack development and also don’t put our players in a position to succeed.
No these guys looked completely different this year. That is solid. Ty is a good example of how he changed his body.
