one-arm sleave

[FlabLoser]

What's this about?

All the cool kids are doing it. I don't get it. Guess I'm not cool like dat.

[BriantheDawg]

have on one of those. And the weird part to me, the sleave was on his non-throwing hand so it wasn't like it was being used to keep his throwing arm warm. Looked pretty stupid to me but what do I know.

OJ Mayo wears one as well. I'm not real sure what the point is

[8dog]

oh you said "sleave"...sorry, I don't know what's up with that. I think these guys just love to wear useless gear.

"The Extension Center" can wear a cape and combat boots for all I care if he keeps dropping the long ball like that.

Compare it to when players began to wear long shorts to copy Michael Jordan.

[Requiem For A Dawg]

problems with an arm and supposedly that helped it.. i seriously doubt all these players now have that problem with their arms

[Requiem For A Dawg]

She was on TV as much as he was.

[Dawgtini]

from what I understand, with the need to cover unsightly tattoos for TV audiences.........it must now just be "cool"

[mstateglfr]

i always just figured the ones that Stewart and Bost wear are for show. Pieces of Flair, if you will.

...but the ones that Rhodes wore and Bailey wears are actually supposed to help insulate the arm/elbow and reduce impact from banging down low. And help keep swelling down, kinda like those long *** socks that old people wear to help with circulation.

http://www.underarmour.co...pid8000033-Forearm-Shiver - i think what Bailey uses?

who knows if any of it is actually useful. i just assume they do it to look cool, then they get used to it and taking it off actually feels odd after awhile, so it stays.

How do the police handcuff a one-armed suspect?

[jakldawg]

custom-made for keg hoisting to take some of the stress off the elbow.
