Had it cut to 8 points in 2nd half......Bolden hit 2 consecutive 3's from the corner. Thought here we go! That ended quick. We just had no answer to the bigs inside or their guards on the outside. Lot of slow footed guys.
My only hope is Huggins. He will either get this team on track for there will be a lot of treadmill casualties. We'll see. Certainly nowhere near #11 nationally.

One game. Terrible performance. But Huggins has been known to marshal his troops in prior seasons and regroup. Big mountain. Big coach to help them climb that mountain. It's a long way to March Madness. So who knows?
The real issue for WVU was that was just another game. With A&M it wasn't and never will be.
Whenever A&M plays you they do not see WVU they see the Big XII and therefore they see OU and UT. Even more UT than OU.
I can tell how Huggins was speaking before the game he did not understand the magnitude.
Nor do WVU fans understand how the other side feels when they play them. When one side takes a game 50x more serious than usual they win unless there is a big difference in talent.
Williams was suspended and he is their best player by far.

There is no shame in losing this game. WVU showed glimpses in the first half of a really good team. Losing to a top 25 team in Germany is not the end of the world. Plus if you are going to lose it mine as well be th first one. Bring on the cupcakes

You have to understand most Texas fans grew up with the SWC or even the Big XII South playing Texas and Oklahoma schools all the time.
Pretty good assessment of the Mountaineers. We have a lot of young guys who need to learn. I’m hoping we’ll be a much better team in February.
Did anyone really think we were a top preseason 10 or 11 team with what we lost last year? We were definitely overrated. We have a new young frontline and a lot of new players who are just learning Huggs system. Tam is a good team and could challenge KY. The loss was ugly but there were some bright spots. They will learn from this and IMHO this team will look a lot better when conference play begins.
