any outside chance that our basketball team had of making the NCAA tourney was lost tonight. No way we will be able to get in with such an embarrassing loss at home. Oh well...maybe we can still win the SEC West at 8-8 or 9-7.

I'm not saying this team will make the NCAA, but to totally dismiss it after one bad loss is pretty silly. Nearly every team has one bad loss every year. Like I said, we probably won't make the NCAA tourney this year, but it won't be because we lost to Charlotte. This team has tons of potential, but we're a long way from being a tournament team right now. I don't think its out of the question, based on our talent, but its probably not likely. I understand being upset about this loss tonight. Its the worst I've ever seen a Stansbury coached team play. We gotta get tougher, quickly. Again, I understand being upset, but let's not jump off a cliff just yet and call the season a failure.
