Need more. Crazy the lack of snow we have had. New Orleans should not get more snow than we do.

Very strange times now. We get so little snow that any snow event is seen as a small natural disaster. I remember growing up and even 10 years ago, snow events a few times a month through the winter with at least 3, 6+ inch events.

I think last year we had 1 true event where I lived. This year not so much. Although I think southeast NE has had 2, 6 inch events so far this season.

My dog was up to her knees taking a leak this morning, so I'm estimating 4" for Beatrice. #science.

Snowing here at my house, now. Have no idea how much we will get. I have only had to use my snowblower once this winter and that was because it was wet snow and too much trouble to push off the driveway and sidewalks. We've had very little snow in town all winter but cold temps. Yesterday up on the ski hill it was 0 degrees at the start of skiing at 9:00 am and today it was -5.

In Lincoln we need precipitation BAD. At this point I'm willing to deal with ice.
A co-worker and I picked some construction equipment in SE Iowa just shy of the Mississippi River two weeks ago. We went down from Sioux City to HWY 34 east on our journey. It started raining in Ottumwa and by Morning Sun we had difficulties loading our machine because of wet deck on the trailer and wet tires on the machine. As we left Morning Sun heavy fog rolled in and we needed to call in assistance from our motel in Mt Pleasent for navigation. In the morning, we drove in rain well past Ottumwa. As we got closer to Omaha, I commented about how drier it looks from where we came from. When we turned North up HWY 59 after I-80 it seemed like we had entered a desert. My NE Nebraska town has had only about five inches of snow so far this winter. Goes to show that regulations of billions of dollars spent somewhere has no impact on Earth's changes while existing in the Solar System.

Friday and Saturday are gonna suck. Sleet, another 1 to 3 inches. Throw in the 40 mph winds and dangerous wind chills. No bueno.
