LOVB Omaha has 5 and the Omaha Supernovas have 4 players that at one time were Huskers. Latest addition was Lexi Rodriquez to the LOVB team which also has Justine Wong-Orantes. Good luck playing against both of them !

Having that many former Huskers should help with attendance in Omaha. The survival/viability of the league will depend on the rest of the teams playing.

For the fun of it I looked at first game for LOVB team there aren’t too many seats available for it, they playing at what used to be called Ralston Arena I don’t know capacity of it. Supernovas play at CHI arena? Hope attendance is high for both teams.

I looked up tickets as well and it was more expensive than I would have guessed. I might not attend a match but with Lexi on the roster I think they'll do very well.

Maybe they’ll be less on Stub Hub or seat geek. Supernova tickets aren’t too bad on those.

I wanted by buy some family members some tickets last season and I changed my mind once I saw the ticket prices. I'm sure the franchises are just trying to make a profit and it's tough without a big TV contract. I was them luck.

Tickets to the League One team that Lexi will be on look to be higher than the Supernovas tickets. League one seats at whatever Ralston arena is called now start at $41. Supernovas in CHI arena start at $17

2 pro volleyball leagues seem like 1 too many
I agree. This is how you make the same mistake that Arena football did by having 1 million different leagues. Yes I realize they’re only starting with two but while they’re getting ready for it to takeoff, they should just stick with the one. Looking forward to attending some of the games down here in Atlanta with my daughter.

LOVB and PVF need to merge before they eat each other alive History has shown two leagues never coexist
It does seem a little like placing a CVS across the street from a Walgreens. It's doubtful both will survive. And possibly neither.

What has the attendance been like for these pro volleyball games?

Like the various pro football teams that Omaha has tried over the years, I have a hard time believing they will consistently draw big crowds like the Huskers do.

Exactly what did you think tickets to a professional sports league would be?

I hadn't given it a single thought. But they are going to charge as much as people will pay, or maybe they are charging more so that the legalized scalping businesses don't get as huge of a mark up.
